As an HR consultant your role will be varied.

HR consultants are great communicators with in-depth understanding of business policies and procedures. Their day-to-day can vary.

The key duties required of an HR consultant may include:

  • Leading, managing and influencing leadership teams and employees across a business to ensure best practice approach to HR and business is followed.
  • Analysing a company’s current HR programmes and recommending solutions.
  • Developing, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring HR programmes and services are following established policies and procedures and are compliant with UK laws and regulations.
  • Preparing and maintaining reports and business plans related to specific HR projects.
  • Assisting with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow.
  • Developing methods for compiling and analysing data for reports and special projects.
  • Conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance and are adaptable to business needs.
  • Presenting tailored learning and development sessions related to specific HR programs and general business approaches.
  • Dealing with ad hoc HR issues related to employee performance, business growth or downsizing.
  • Building relationships both with employees and clients.
  • Recruitment at all levels.
  • Reviewing and implementing HR systems.

Part Time Marketing

HR Ready is growing and we have a fantastic opportunity for a marketing professional with experience of delivering successful marketing campaigns to grow their career with us.

This is a varied role which will allow you to stretch your creative wings and get involved in a wide variety of campaigns, affording you the chance to grow and develop.

 

1. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the delivery of marketing activities across the business both in print and digital.
  • Create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, emails, blogs, and website updates.
  • Support and manage the social marketing content such as videos and podcasts.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.
  • Support and build the customer journey and various touch points to fully engage our clients and prospective clients utilising our CRM system.
  • Maintain a diary of marketing plans and activities, manage our contact databases and liaise with suppliers, seek opportunities to optimise effective sales strategies and enhance marketing communications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to suggest innovative ideas.

 

2. Person Specification

  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably 1-2 years in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, social media scheduling platforms).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to contribute fresh ideas to marketing strategies.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the varied demands of the role.
